The Stark Area Regional Transit Authority is embarking on an update to its Transit Development Plan (TDP), a five year operating and capital plan for the agency. The TDP represents SARTA's desire to use high quality data to plan logically and systematically for its future, while striving to meet SARTA's mission and goals:

The purpose of SARTA is to provide safe, responsive and efficient transportation for all citizens of Stark Couty.

Components of the TDP

• Public outreach: meetings, surveys, other events
• Internal review of the agency
• Financial analysis
• Demographic and land use analysis
• Evalution of current services
• Recommendations for new and restructure services and capital projects
